We are following the various events taking place in our homeland with deep concern, anxiety and indignation.
By dividing the nation, dividing it into black and white, losing the war, demoralising and disorganising the army, surrendering Artsakh to the enemy, ceding the territory of the Republic of Armenia, distorting Armenian history, undermining our national values, denying national claims, Ararat, even sinning against the Genocide and tripling the country’s external debt, your clan of the Civil Contract party, under the monopoly of Nikol Pashinyan, stubbornly continues its ‘mission’ to destroy the homeland and the nation. You are trying to hold on to power by making baseless accusations against opposition politicians, influential clergy, elected officials and prominent businessmen, illegally arresting them, increasing the number of political prisoners, trampling on democracy and freedom of speech, and establishing a dictatorial police regime.
Now it is the turn of the Armenian Church, against which your struggle has only one explanation: heresy. However, you will not succeed in destroying the foundations of the nation, simply because our people are not your obedient slaves, and even if they were paralysed for a while, even if they were deceived and lulled to sleep by your empty and false sermons, they have now awakened and are ready to throw their categorically ‘NO’ in your face. Not only do we reject your pro-Turkish and pro-Turkish course, prepared and shaped by external forces and adopted by you, hidden behind the false and deceitful mask of so-called ‘peace’ and presented to society, but, on the contrary, we continue our struggle for the Armenian cause with even greater energy and conviction, challenging you and your ilk. You have no rights, neither legal nor moral, to sign any agreement on behalf of the Armenian people. What you have signed is just a piece of paper. The Armenian cause, the anti-Turkish struggle, our demands concern and belong to all Armenians, not just the Armenian government. Therefore, a pan-Armenian decision is necessary, and the Armenian people, both in Armenia and in the diaspora, overwhelmingly reject all your dirty defeatist papers. Therefore, we must continue to recognise and name Turkey and Azerbaijan as enemies with all our might until justice prevails and our rights are fully restored. We must continue to live and create based on our centuries-old national and spiritual values. In the diaspora, entire generations have fought and swum against the tide, at the cost of countless sacrifices, to preserve our national values, shrines, traditions, our language, our culture, the unique identity of the Armenian people, and our unbreakable Cause. The term ‘real’ Armenia, which you call for, is not in our vocabulary. We recognise only one Armenia: a united, demanding, sovereign, democratic, prosperous, independent, powerful Armenia, which is the core of our proclaimed Free, independent, United Armenia of the future. Finally, we, the ranks of France, Holland and Belgium, with our youth divisions, accompanying trade unions and a wide circle of supporters, continue to unconditionally support and provide assistance to our state, for the state and statehood are absolute and enduring values, not temporary authorities, especially your ill-considered ‘authority,’ which we will do everything in our power to eliminate.
